Today , being this age, is the day we should respond to the Good news Gospel of Jesus Christ. God is patient not wanting any to perish until all nations and peoples hear .….then the end will come when he returns to reward those with complete redemption and restoration as we inherit what God envisioned at the foundation of the world.

A future millennium that you propose has no place with what God prepared for us as he created the world....a reward enjoyed at his coming in the full Glory of his Father.
And those castles made of sand....fall into the sea......eventually

So, are you saying the millennial kingdom period is a reward, free of sin? Or is there not a millennial kingdom period?
    Israel.... the Believer's insurance policy!

So a future 1000 years is a complete waste of time in the next age right.
jeffweeder, do you know every purpose of God? I don't. We will exist for eternity without preaching the gospel and new souls to be saved, I don't see the necessity to be preaching to have purpose. Do you think that animals and insects ALL had immortality before the fall? I think it is possible for some life-forms to have a limited lifespan and still be happy and blessed. Indeed that is exactly what can be seen in the Messianic Age of Israel where ethnic Jews have long life and prosperity, but not immortality like the saved. Is there anything wrong with knowing you are born into mortality? It is not the worst destiny, most humans on earth think this is it, our short mortal lives and then it is over. So if God chooses to have this millenial world during this Messianic Age where mortals prosper under the rule of Jesus and the immortal saints, I don't see this as fully without purpose, life can be celebrated without it always needing to be eternal.

So what you see as a period without purpose can have godly purpose, some of which is unknown to us. Some possible purposes, vindication of the saved. The immortal saved learning to rule. The vindication of all Israel, saved from it's enemies and forefront nation as promised.

And sure I agree that Jesus has all authority, but until he wields that authority over this world, this world is an evil place. So whether you belive in progressive authority or not, these are the actual facts:
Jesus was a boy without the full anointing
Jesus received power from on high at his baptism
Jesus crucifixion and resurrection gave him further authority
Kings do not currently bow to Jesus, but they all will.

Deny the progression, it still exists.

There is not a future millennial kingdom. The second coming is the Final judgment and the restoration of all things.

    Rev 22
12 “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.
15 Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

3 We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly enlarged, and the love of each one of you toward one another grows ever greater; 4 therefore, we ourselves speak proudly of you among the churches of God for your perseverance and faith in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure. 5 This is a plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering. 6 For after all it is only just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you, 7 and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, 8 dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed—for our testimony to you was believed. 11 To this end also we pray for you always, that our God will count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power, 12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

    God bless Cliff.
