    Israel Palestine Peace Plan

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he will unveil a settlement between Israel and the Palestinians, on September 25th, during a session of the United Nations. This Plan will be non-negotiable and enforced onto them by the threat of the withdrawal of financial support and a possible army presence.

Trump said Israel will pay a "higher price" in peace negotiations with the Palestinians after his decision to move the American embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. "If there's ever going to be peace with the Palestinians, then this was a good thing to have done," Trump said about the embassy move during a rally in West Virginia. "We took it off the table. In past negotiations, they never got past Jerusalem. Now Israel will have to pay a higher price, because it's off the table. The Palestinians will get something very good, cause it's their turn next."

The Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and chief negotiator, Saeb Erekat, has revealed details of the US peace plan to resolve the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
His report included 13 items which outline US President Donald Trump’s plan.

The First item recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and provides for transferring the US embassy to it. According to the report, this means “the end of the issue of Jerusalem”, because no Israeli government will negotiate over Jerusalem after the US administration recognizes it as its capital.

The Second item is to establish the Palestinian future capital on the outskirts of Jerusalem. Media reports speculate that the town of Abu Dis, near Jerusalem, is proposed as capital of the State of Palestine.

The Third item says the US administration will approve the annexation of major settlement ‘blocs’ to Israel within two to three months tops.
According to the report, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wanted to annex 15 per cent of the settlements while Trump proposes 10 per cent.

The Fourth item stipulates that the US administration will announce a “common security concept for the State of Israel and the State of Palestine as partners in peace”. The concept includes four points: a demilitarized Palestinian state with a strong police force, the creation of bilateral, regional and international security cooperation with the participation of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and America, which other countries would be welcome to join. The Israeli forces will maintain their presence along the Jordan River and the central mountains of the West Bank, in order to protect the two states. Finally, Israel will continue to provide overriding security responsibility for emergency situations.

The Fifth item provides that the Israeli forces will withdraw gradually outside Areas A and B in the West Bank and some territories from Area C. Later the Palestinian state will be announced within those borders
The Sixth and Seventh clauses stipulate the recognition of Israel as a “national homeland for the Jewish people and a Palestinian state as a national homeland for the Palestinian people”.

The Ninth item provides that Israel should allocate parts of the ports of Ashdod and Haifa, and Ben Gurion airport for Palestinian use, while Israel maintains security control over those portals.

Item Ten in the plan includes the creation of a safe passage between the West Bank and the Gaza Strip under the sovereignty of Israel.

According to item Eleven, the Palestinians will manage international crossings however Israel will maintain maximum security control over them.

Article Twelve states that “territorial waters, airspace and electromagnetic waves” shall be under Israeli control without prejudicing the needs of the Palestinian state.

Finally, in the Thirteenth item, the plan calls for a “just solution to the refugee issue within the Palestinian state”.

Whether all this will be the final draft or not, it does seem that a solution to the ongoing strife in Israel, is on the cards.

By asking for a source I didn't question your sincerity but for a link to the website. It makes quite a difference if the story comes right from the White House, the Haaratz or Hamas, the parties involved.

    Re: Israel Palestine Peace Plan

Here's a little hint for you, when Saeb Erekat says something you can be pretty sure it's a lie.

Here's a cold hard fact, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has already said he will reject any peace plan even though he hasn't seen it yet. Why, you may wonder?
Because, their politicians including Saeb Erekat, say a peace plan must immediately flood Israel with "refugees" and their decedents who have been under Palestinian rule since the days of Jimmy Cater, give Jerusalem to Palestine, heavily restrict and sanction Israel and give major parts of Israel over to Palestine...and that's just the start.

But the real reason it will be rejected, no matter how good or fair the deal could be to Palestine, is because the acceptance of any peace plan at all would make Abbas look like a traitor not only to Palestinians but also to Iran and others who's goal always has been and always will be the total and complete destruction of Israel.
Any hint of a plans acceptance would see a massive revolt in Palestine and Abbas and a lot of other people's heads would roll.

Trump's team is putting together the best realistic plan it can knowing all of this full well. So what's the point? The point is to show the world that the real problem with the conflict is and always has been Palestine and those that aid them in their attacks.
The hope is, slim as it is, that the U.N. and others will finally see this and exert whatever pressure they can upon Palestine and others so that, finally, real efforts can be made towards the beginning of real peace talks and that whatever is decided will be adhered to by Palestine instead of what they've done in the past.

Make agreements and then break them time and time again.

All of the above is opinion based upon years of seeing these things play out, reading articles and statements from all sides, reason and common sense. Y'all can consider it or reject it out of hand as you best see fit.

I have to "spread some reputation around," but Brian's post is spot on.

Besides, as everyone with a brain should know by know, Trump is not the traditional negotiator. Wheels within wheels within wheels.

But you can certainly ignore anything coming out of the PLO's mouthpieces.

But this time, it will be different. Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, etc, plus the Western nations will pass this Plan thru the UN Assembly and it will be enforced upon Israel and Palestine; like it or not.
On the OP subject: I note that the Feast of Sukkot falls on the 24/25th September, the day Trump will announce this Peace Plan.
Sukkot; Tabernacles, is very significant as the preparation for the arrival of the Messiah.

What are you talking about? Most of The U.N. hates Israel almost as much as Palestine and Iran does. They'll have to be worked very carefully to force them to accept reality and they'll be kicking and screaming the whole way.

I admit I could be wrong but my bet is this process will take years. Hopefully Trump will get a second term and be able to see it through.

Edit to say: And the U.N. can't force or enforce a peace plan upon Israel and Palestine anyway. The U.N. doesn't have that kind of authority and if they tried it the U.S. and other Wetsern allies wouldn't go along with it.

Well Saeb Erekat of the PA is supposedly the source. And he has very specific, detailed information of alleged discussions between Trump and Netanyahu. So where is he getting this information from? Trump? Netanyahu? KGB spies? Mental telepathy?
