well just for fun: reptilians are a diversion, and we like to talk about the Truth on Forum threads if you don't mind.

be blessed you all, and glad to straighten out whatever confusion you may have, as i have time.
It would be nice if we could get serious but that would mean an end to all the silliness.

You can't talk of chemtrails and little green men taking over and then complain that talk of reptiilians is silly. When you jump on board every wacky conspiracy theory promoted by a bunch of kooks and nutjobs it is hard to take you seriously. But maybe that's just the reptilians taking over my brain. Who knows any more?

no apologies needed Blue, good to hear from you again, at least here and there.

your points are Crystal Clear tooo.

    >>>Just for peace of mind, one day you should seriously look at the other side of dispensationalism; RC Sproul was there.
Some great theologians throughout history & alive today would give you a run for your money on this issue.

i have looked at the 'other side of dispensationalism'. and am familiar with RC Sproul.

and Yes there are great theologians on Both sides of the Theological fence.

i assume you are suggesting 'Covenentalism' and have noted you used to advertise that in your signature. you need to bring it back, are you losing your fire Blue?

actually Dispensationalism goes way, way, way back. the Apostle Paul taught it and then the Early Church 'fathers' or a better term would be writers, pastors or teacher have it on record

recently got discussing with a dispensational theologian...

The very oldest Christian commentary on Bible prophecy (of any significant length) that has survived to the present day is the last twelve chapters of the very famous work by Irenaeus, titled "Against Heresies," which is believed to have been published between the years 186 and 188 A.D. (We know of older ones, but all of them either have been lost or were only short comments in articles about other subjects.) In this work, Irenaeus insisted that the Old Testament prophecies should be interpreted literally, insisted that "the Jews" would be brought back to their homeland and that, once there, they would be converted. He quoted from the prophecy of Daniel's seventieth week, presenting its fulfillment as future, and he said:

“Those nations however, who did not of themselves raise up their eyes unto heaven, nor returned thanks to their Maker, nor wished to behold the light of truth, but who were like blind mice concealed in the depths of ignorance, the word justly reckons ‘as waste water from a sink, and as the turning-weight of a balance—in fact, as nothing;’ so far useful and serviceable to the just, as stubble conduces towards the growth of the wheat, and its straw, by means of combustion, serves for working gold. And therefore, when in the end the Church shall be suddenly caught up from this, it is said, ‘There shall be tribulation such as has not been since the beginning, neither shall be.’ For this is the last contest of the righteous, in which, when they overcome they are crowned with incorruption.” (“Against Heresies,” by Irenaeus, Book V, chapter 29, paragraph 1, as found in in “The Early Church Fathers: Ante-Nicene Fathers,” vol. 1, ed. by Alexander Roberts and James Donaldson, as found in its American edition ed. by A. Cleveland Coxe.)

well does that Float yur Boat?

and yes i have included book/chapter numbers this time! whoooopeeee. so there's yur Dinner.

there are more quotes, but i don't wanna overload Your System. come back for more when you need them.

    Your Welcome.

awe, now Keck, do you want me to quote more Early Dispensationalists. perhaps the Apostle Paul, would that convince?

    >>>100% man made.

    really?

even Jesus was a Dispensationalist. and yes he was the Son of Man...maybe that is what you mean.

is it ok Sonajero that we get Serious?

Hi John, thanks for the comments.

Reading this right now, it’s good, have a look if you like.

Was Irenaeus Dispensational, Pretribulational and Premillennial?
    https://originsofleftbehind.wordpres...premillennial/

It’s not long and a somewhat easy read, (but a complicated topic)

    Here’s the conclusion:

    Conclusion

From the above, it can be fairly said, that while Irenaeus is “a Second Century Testimony to … Premillennialism”, there is no evidence that he was pretribulational, and I strongly doubt that he can be fairly called dispensational.”

Asking you to exposit Scripture when you talk about Scripture is diversionary?

    interesting article Bluesky.

all Reality and Theology points to Dispensationalism and the pre-trib Rapture. i am open to the other side, but the Elder's in those churches don't seem to know much about their church's position.

Israel 1948 clinches it for me, now it is all down hill. watching Syria, soon their Capital which is Damascus will be gone, says Isaiah.

when that happens, should be interesting what those who oppose Dispensationalism will say. probably the same thing they said when Israel became a nation in 1948....whatever it was that they back peddled.

Isa 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

makes me wonder why christians don't see it. been in the Bible a Long Time, Damascus is the World's Oldest City. when it becomes a 'ruinous heap', then how does one argue with that?

    i don't.

well they can't argue with the Rapture, when we go, that's it.

    blessings.

Edit, should finish with your article soon and maybe share some thoughts.

How many years ago did Isaiah say that?

    It didnít happen in 2011

It could be another 1000 years. Easily.

probably this year, i may have to do something on what is happening in Syria and how Israel is being threatened by this. Psalm 83 could easily siphon off this war and move us into Rapture positions.

just watch Damascus and learn how to spell it. i can do the Rest brother Keck. my Dispensational Team monitors this 24/7, hopefully when the Balloon goes up, the forum will be among first to know.

i can only do so much Keck, wish i could make you see this, but it is very hard if your wear Different Glasses.

i sell Prophetic Glasses for those who can't see, PM me and i can rush you out the Details.

    blessings...always.

That’s what you said last year.......

Your interpretation of Psalm 83 is a myth, just like the title of this thread. I don’t need your glasses, they would cloud my vision to see God’s truth
Those who seek God with all their heart will find Him and be given sight. Those who seek their own agenda will remain blind.

nope, this is just my first Prediction for Damascus (that may happen or so we hope will happen if only), been saving the best for last.

your Glasses are in the mail anyway. they work excellent IMHO and i use them mostly on this Forum, so i can see past your Unbelief.

Psalm 83 is about the hottest Prophecy right now within Dispensationalism, remember once upon a Time the re-birth of Israel in 1948 was a 'Myth' too...

then the Prophetic clocked ticked one more time.

Dispensationalist roared, and Israel astonished the nations. Arabs totally freaked and the World was turned upside down.

pull up a chair Keck, we are just starting...

but it will be Over very Soon.

    promise.

So what we have is a prophecy written somewhere north of 2000 years ago that applies to some point in the future, and you speculating that it must be this year because, well, why exactly?

Hang on, haven't we been here before. In, like, every thread you post in? Where you post endless speculations and back them all up with precisely nothing.

Reading this right now John by Gary DeMar. Already fulfilled brother.

SNIP >>> I believe it makes more sense to hold that Isaiah 17 was fulfilled in the eighth century BC when both Damascus, the capital of Syria, and Samaria, the capital of Israel, were hammered by the Assyrians. In that conquest, both Damascus and Samaria were destroyed, just as Isaiah 17 predicts. According to history, Tiglath-pileser III (745–727 BC) pushed vigorously to the west, and in 734 the Assyrians advanced and laid siege to Damascus, which fell two years later in 732.1 <<<
