Prayers for the Florida pan handle please!

    Hello Forum,
Please keep everyone in Alabama, Florida and Georgia in your prayers. This hurricane Michael is a beast. It reminds me of one that went through in 1975. We are about 20 miles inside the Alabama line. Only a few minutes from Florida. I donít know how long we will have power after tonight but please keep all the families in these areas in your prayers. God has this, but prayers sure help. Everyone be blessed and I will see you on the backside of this mess!

Praying for you and the pan handle.

    1 Corinthians 13
1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

15 Sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence.

    Yep.

My 85 year old mother in law lives right in the path. It will still be CAT1-CAT2 when it gets to her house, and she refuses to let us come get her.

At this point, the window to get in and get her out is closed.

Gonna be a long night. I'm already planning on a route that will get me within a one day walking distance in (probably from the Dothan area) if the damage is massive. Probably tomorrow.

    All prayers appreciated.

    Yes. Praying...

I watched footage of the hurricane on the news. What devastation!

Galatians 6:14 - But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Big thank you for all the prayers. God kept his merciful hands around us during the storm. A few trees down but we did not ever loose power like a lot of people. Rabbiknife, I was glad to hear your family was safe also. The devastation is horrible around PC and Mexico beach. Please continue to keep these areas in your prayers during the clean up and recovery effort. Most people that live in those areas don’t have homes to return to when the get back. Tyndale AFB WAS severely damaged. Hope everyone has a blessed day and thank our Heavenly Father for bringing so many families through that storm. They may not have homes to return to but the have their loved ones alive. I am thankful for these blessings.
